Employing a twisting motion, rotate your hand in one direction to twist the strands together. Keep on twisting until the strands are tightly wound around one another. For all of my connections, I both use skinny bits of steel that I get from trimming the finishes off resistors and LEDs or slim-gauge wire that I get from old Ethernet cables.
